NARASI MANIPULATIF PADA VIDEO PENGAKUAN AGUS DISABILITAS (ANALISIS PENTAD KENNETH BURKE PADA AKUN YOUTUBE KORANLOMBOK)

This research is titled "Manipulative Narratives in the Video of Agus the Disabled Person's Confession (A Kenneth Burke Pentad Analysis of the Koranlombok YouTube Account)". This study is motivated by the manipulative narratives found in the case of Agus, a person with a disability who became a suspect in an alleged rape and appeared in a video on the Koranlombok YouTube channel. The video demonstrates how a narrative is constructed to build public sympathy and diminish the victim's position. The purpose of this study is to analyze the construction of Agus's narrative through Kenneth Burke's dramatistic approach with its five Pentad elements: act, scene, agent, agency, and purpose. The method used is descriptive qualitative analysis through observation of the 27-minute and 21-second video, supported by documentation and data triangulation. The results of the study show that Agus's narrative is constructed by emphasizing his physical limitations as a rhetorical strategy to gain public sympathy, shape public opinion, and obscure the substance of the case. This highlights the role of digital media in spreading manipulative narratives that impact public perception.
