HUBUNGAN ANTARA KURANG ENERGI KRONIK (KEK) DENGAN KEJADIAN ANEMIA PADA IBU HAMIL DI PUSKESMAS GELUMBANG KABUPATEN MUARA ENIM
Anemia is a condition of the body characterized by the results of the examination of hemoglobin (Hb) levels in the blood lower than normal values. Anemia is still a public health problem in Indonesia. As many as 1 in 2 pregnant women are anemic. CED in pregnant women has a significant relationship with the incidence of anemia. CED is an energy deficiency that has an adverse impact on maternal health and fetal development growth. This study used a case control design with a sample of pregnant women in the Gelumbang Health Center working area in January 1, 2023 – December 31, 2023 who met the criteria at the Gelumbang Health Center. The study sample size was 47 pregnant women in the case group and control group. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique for the case group and simple random sampling for the control group. The results of the analysis showed that respondents were dominated by those who experienced chronic energy deficiency. The results of the Chi-square test analysis showed a p-value of 0.00 in the sense that there was a significant relationship between the incidence of chronic energy deficiency and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women at the Gelumbang Health Center, Muara Enim Regency. Researchers suggest that families should be able to provide support to pregnant women. As well as to the health center to create a program that can support the success of preventing the incidence of anemia and SEZ. It is hoped that the results of this study can be used as input for further research in order to develop and multiply the variables to be studied and use research methods such as using primary data.
