The plans to design Heritage Hotel located in Kampung Kapitan was initiated by the increasing demand of acommodation facility in Palembang as well as the branding uThe City Where River meetCulture inHarmony ” promoted by Government Tourism Office which author decipher as the need to built a hotel in which theres the element of culture (heritage) and Musi River, thus, site in Kampung Kapitan was selected for it known as preservation site and it’s location near Musi River. These Heritage Hotel was designed with Contextual Architecture Concept which fronted the distinct Kampung Kapitan ’s Architecture that consist fusion of Chinese, Colonial, and Palembang Architecture. However ini this case, author appoint Chinese and Palembang architecture up front. The planning of this Heritage Hotel is expected to fulffil the need of accomodation facility with different atmosphere.
