ANALISIS DAYA SAING INDUSTRI MINYAK MENTAH KELAPA INDONESIA DAN FILIPINA
The processing industry is one of the industrial sectors that significantly contributes to the Indonesian economy. One of the sub-sectors of the processing industry that has a considerable impact through international trade activities is the crude coconut oil industry. However, competition in the international market from other countries will persist. This study aims to analyze the competitive differences between the Indonesian and Philippine crude coconut oil industries as the world's largest exporters of crude coconut oil. The data used is secondary data in the form of time series from 2010 to 2022. The analytical techniques employed are the Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA), Export Competitiveness Index (ECI), and Independent Sample T-Test. The results show a difference in comparative competitiveness, where the Philippine crude coconut oil industry has an average RCA value of 166.90, which is significantly superior compared to Indonesia's average value of 27.72. In terms of competitiveness, there is no significant difference between the two industries, although the Philippine crude coconut oil industry has a higher average ECI value of 1.02 compared to Indonesia's average value of 1.01. This small difference indicates that both industries have a high level of competitiveness.
