KORELASI HASIL LABORATORIUM HEMATOLOGI DAN URINALISIS DENGAN TINGKAT AKTIVITAS PENYAKIT PADA PASIEN LUPUS ERITEMATOSUS SISTEMIK DI RSUP DR. MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG
Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (LES) is a condition in which autoantibodies against body cells occur that can affect various organ systems. Globally, the most common manifestations in LES patients are hematologic and renal manifestations. The level of disease activity in LES patients can be measured by the MEX-SLEDAI index. Some previous studies have suggested a correlation between hematologic and renal manifestations and the level of LES disease activity (p0.05). Therefore, this study aims to analyze the correlation between hematology laboratory results and urinalysis of the degree of disease activity in LES patients at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Hospital Palembang. This study was an analytic observational study with a cross sectional research design. The research subjects were medical record data of adult LES patients at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang Hospital during the January-December 2024 period which were taken by consecutive sampling procedure based on inclusion and exclusion criteria and then analyzed with the Chi-square test. In this study, 88.3% of subjects were female, 11.7% were male and dominated by patients with the age group of 18-30 years (40%). Based on hematology and urinalysis laboratory results, 35% of subjects had anemia, 6.7% had leukopenia, 8.3% had thrombocytopenia, 10% had proteinuria, and 40% had hematuria. Statistical tests showed no significant correlation between anemia, thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, proteinuria, and hematuria with the degree of disease activity in LES patients at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Hospital Palembang (p>0.05). There is no significant correlation between hematology laboratory results and urinalysis with the degree of disease activity in LES patients at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Hospital Palembang.
