DAMPAK PEMBANGUNAN KOTA MEIKARTA PADA DESA CIBATU CIKARANG KABUPATEN BEKASI DALAM PERSPEKTIF SOSIO SPASIAL

This research focuses on the impact of Meikarta's development on Cibatu Village in Cikarang, Bekasi, from a socio spatial perspective. The aim is to analyze the steps of urban space transformation and evaluate its impact on Cibatu Village, including spatial and social changes. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Eleven informants were purposively selected. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results show that the development of Meikarta by the Lippo Group has caused impacts involving forced migration of the native residents of Cibatu, unequal access and opportunities, and spatial separation between the city center and Cibatu Village. The impacts include significant changes in spatial, soscial, and economic aspects in Cibatu Village. Keywords: Meikarta, Urban Spatial Transformation, Socio Spatial
