CITRA DIRI REMAJA AKHIR PENGUNJUNG COFFEE SHOP KOPI 16 DI PALEMBANG
This research examines the "Self-Image of Late Adolescents Visiting Coffee Shop Kopi 16 in Palembang." Visiting coffee shops has become a phenomenon lately because many late teenagers, especially at Coffee Shop 16, shape, express, and perceive themselves in front of others through their visits to coffee shops. In this research, the method used is qualitative descriptive. The data collection techniques used are in-depth interviews, observation, participation, and documentation. This research uses Herbert Blumer's theory of symbolic interactionism. The research results show that the significant meaning of teenagers' habit of visiting Coffee shop Kopi 16 serves as a place for socializing and following trends, allowing teenagers to interact and be accepted in social groups. In addition, coffee shops also serve as spaces to enjoy some alone time (me time), where individuals can relax while enjoying coffee.
