Low back pain (LBP) is a major cause of disability with a high prevalence, including 18% in Indonesia. Most cases are nonspecific, reducing productivity and requiring pharmacological as well as rehabilitation management. Patient satisfaction is an essential indicator of service quality and can be assessed using the MRPS questionnaire. Previous studies reported that patient satisfaction has not reached the Indonesian Ministry of Health’s minimum standard (≥90%). This study aimed to describe patient satisfaction with LBP management at the Medical Rehabilitation Unit of Hermina Hospital Palembang as a basis for improving service quality. This descriptive observational study with a cross-sectional design was conducted in September 2025. A total of 48 patients diagnosed with LBP who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were recruited using consecutive sampling. Data were analyzed using univariate analysis. Among the 48 patients, most were female (72.9%) and adults (52.1%). The majority had secondary education (43.8%) and were retired (54.2%). Chronic LBP was reported by 66.7%, while 72.9% had undergone therapy for less than one year, and 54.2% experienced mild pain. Patient satisfaction was very high, with 95.8% reporting being very satisfied. Additionally, 43.8% of patients experienced mild improvement in condition based on ΔNPRS scores. Most LBP patients were adult, female, and retired. The majority had chronic LBP with mild pain. Patient satisfaction was categorized as very good, with the highest score in the global satisfaction domain and the lowest in the quality time domain.
