ANALISIS PENERAPAN E-ELECTION DALAM PEMILU DI INDONESIA
E-democracy has become a solution for implementing the democratic process supported by information technology, which in its application has several models that can be used. One form of implementing democracy is the General Election (Pemilu). The part of e-democracy that focuses on the general election process is known as e-election. Elections in Indonesia itself are carried out in two ways, namely the Noken system and using individual votes. This makes it necessary to combine the participatory e-democracy model and the deliberative e-democracy model. The process of combining the two e-democracy models is carried out using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine which principle to choose from each e-democracy model, before combining it. This research aims to create an e-democracy model that can be applied in Indonesia’s elections, as well as looking at the level of public readiness in using e-election for the implementation of General Elections (Pemilu). The research was conducted using a qualitative approach and accompanied by quantitative data collection using a questionnaire. The questionnaire was used to see the level of readiness to use e-election for elections process. The questionnaire uses a mixture of TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) and DOI (Divergent of Innovation) methods. The results of this research show that the range of dimension index values is above 70%, with the highest value being 80.21% in the Calculation Results Dimension and 81.67% in the Perceived Usefulness Dimension. This shows that the public is ready if the election process in Indonesia is implemented using e-election.
