EFEKTIVITAS REGENERASI ENDODONTIK PADA KASUS PERAWATAN GIGI PERMANEN MUDA YANG NEKROSIS (LITERATURE REVIEW)
Background : Pulp necrosis in immature permanent teeth results in incomplete rooth development with short root and thin dentinal walls that can lead into fracture. Apexification as the main treatment would not increase the length and thickness of the root canal wall which made the teeth susceptible to fracture. Regenerative endodontic treatment used tissue engineering triad which being being developed allow the root to continue the development, increase the dentinal wall thickness, and restore the teeth vitality to prevent fracture. Objectivity : Examine the effectivity of regenerative endodontic in cases of necrotic immature permanent teeth treatment and which component is the most common used and effective. Methods : Literature review is using Google scholar, DOAJ, Science direct, and pubmed data for the last 5 years calculated from 2018 to 2023. The journals used were fit with the inclusion and exclusion criteria then analyzed using Case Report Statement and Checklist and summarized to obtain the data of the effectivity of regenerative endodontic treatment in necrotic immature permanent teeth. Results : This literature review successfully synthesized 18 Case Reports journals that performed endodontic regeneration treatment on immature permanent teeth with necrosis using various different components. Conclusion : Regenerative endodontic treatment using NaOC1 with concentrations ranging from 1% to 2,5%, and EDTA 17% as irrigation solutions along with Ca(OH)2 as intracanal medicament and blood clot as scaffold has been proven to demonstrate optimal effectivity that capable of eliminating disease, induce bone healing, and restore the vitality of the necrotic immature permanent teeth.
