KESINTASAN PASIEN KANKER ENDOMETRIUM DI RS DR. MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG
Background: Endometrial cancer is a gynecologic malignancy that originates from the endometrial lining. It ranks as the sixth most common cancer among women worldwide. The survival rate of patients with endometrial cancer is influenced by several factors, including age, stage, histopathological type, grade, and treatment modalities. This study aims to determine the survival rate of patients with endometrial cancer at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Hospital Palembang. Methods: This was a survival rate study with a retrospective design. Data were obtained from secondary sources, including medical records and patient interviews, involving cases of endometrial cancer treated at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Hospital Palembang between 2022 and 2024. Results: A total of 58 patients with endometrial cancer met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Most patients were in stage I (46.6%), had grade 2 tumors (53.4%), and presented with the endometrioid histopathological type (96.6%). The most common treatment received was a combination of surgery and chemoradiation (41,4%). The overall 3–5-year survival rate was 66.4%. Conclusion: The survival of patients with endometrial cancer at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin General Hospital Palembang was influenced by age, stage, grade, and treatment modalities.
