HUBUNGAN PRODUKTIVITAS TENAGA KERJA DAN EFISIENSI INDUSTRI BUBUR KERTAS, KERTAS, DAN PAPAN KERTAS DI INDONESIA (ISIC 1701)
Indonesia has great potential in the pulp, paper, and paperboard industry, but this sector still faces challenges in improving labor productivity and achieving optimal efficiency. This research aims to analyze the relationship between labor productivity and the efficiency of the pulp, paper, and paperboard industry in Indonesia (ISIC 1701) during the 2010-2021 period. The data used in this study are secondary data from the Central Bureau of Statistics. Efficiency analysis was conducted using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method with a Variable Return to Scale (VRS) input-oriented model, while the relationship between productivity and efficiency was analyzed using the Pearson correlation test. This study found a significant relationship between labor productivity and industry efficiency, although it was not always linear. Several years showed significant productivity increases, but these were not followed by corresponding improvements in efficiency, indicating the need for more appropriate policy interventions.
