ANALISIS HAMBATAN MASUK PASAR DAN TINGKAT EFISIENSI PADA INDUSTRI PERALATAN LISTRIK RUMAH TANGGA (ISIC 27510) DI INDONESIA
This study aims to see the relationship and the effect of market entry barriers on the efficiency levels of the household electrical appliances industry (ISIC 27510) in Indonesia. Market entry barriers are measured using the Minimum Efficiency of Scale (MES) method. Efficiency was analyzed using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method. Analytical techniques used to see the relationship and the effect using Pearson Correlation analysis and simple linear regression. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistic (BPS) for period 2012-2021. The results showed that the level of market entry barriers is very high with an MES value of 61.87 percent, indicating that it’s very difficult for new entrants to enter the market. The DEA estimation results showed that there two years, 2012 and 2018, which technically efficient but not scale efficient. Overall, during the observation years, it is not efficient with an average efficiency scale value of 0,659 < 1. Market entry barriers and efficiency level have a positive relationship direction with a weak level of closeness. The regression test result showed that market entry barriers have a positive relationship with coefficient value of 0,816 but have no significant effect on the level of efficiency with a t-test probability of 0,3709 > α (0,05).
