ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN KELUARGA DENGAN DEFISIT PENGETAHUAN PEMENUHAN NUTRISI DAN IMPLIKASI PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN TENTANG “ISI PIRINGKU” MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA VIDEO DALAM MENINGKATKAN PENGETAHUAN IBU DENGAN BALITA.

Background: The fulfillment of the right nutrition is very important to support the growth and development of toddlers properly or optimally. A balanced diet with the composition of the contents of my plate is a reference for people to consume some foods and drinks in a balanced manner. The factor that affects feeding toddlers is the mother's knowledge of the nutritional needs of toddlers. One way to increase knowledge is through health education using video media. Aim: Providing nursing care for families with knowledge deficits, nutritional fulfillment and health education implications about the contents of “Isi Piringku” using video media in increasing maternal knowledge with toddlers. Method: The method used is a qualitative research with case study approach to three managed families. Result: There were five nursing problems found in the three managed families with the main nursing problem, namely the knowledge deficit. The results of providing health education about “Isi Piringku” with 4-minute video media showed that there was an increase in scores of 80%-90% in the good category of the three managed families Discussion: From the results of the assessment of the three managed families, a nursing diagnosis was obtained, namely a deficit in knowledge about the guidelines for the contents of my plate related to the family's inability to recognize health problems, nutritional fulfillment. The three managed families were given health education about “Isi Piringku” using video media. The results were obtained that the knowledge of the three clients increased from the bad category to the good category after being given health education "fill my plate" using video media. Conclusion: Health education about “Isi Piringku” is effective in increasing mothers' knowledge in fulfilling nutrition in toddlers.
