Result: After receiving Benson relaxation therapy for 10-15 minutes over three consecutive days, the result showed a reduction in anxiety scores: in one patient, the anxiety level decreased from moderate to mild, and in two patients, it decreased from moderate to no anxiety. Dicussion: The result of the study showed that anxiety was experienced by all those three CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis. Benson relaxtion therapy was administered to them as non-pharmacological therapy to reduce anxiety. Benson relaxtion therapy is a therapy which combines relaxtion with elemen of belief in the form of words that make a person feel relaxed, happy, calm, and comfortable, and it reduces anxiety by increasing the production of endorphins as neurotransmitter modulators that influence the mood to relax. Conclusion: Benson relaxtion therapy is effective in reducing the anxiety experienced by CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis.
