ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA PASIEN CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE (CKD) YANG MENJALANI HEMODIALISA DAN APLIKASI TERAPI SEFT PADA MASALAH KEPERAWATAN ANSIETAS
Background: Pre-hemodialysis an anxiety often occurs in patients with chronic kidney failure and can even last for a long time and continuously. It can influence physical stressors that affect various dimensions of life due to complaints of physical weakness, quality of life of CKD patients so that the survival of CKD patients is disturbed. Objective: To describe the implementation of nursing care in CKD patients and the application of SEFT Therapy. Methods: Case study with 3 CKD patients in the inpatient word of RSMH Palembang. Result: After being given the SEFT therapy which was carried out for 10-20 minutes every day for 3 days, the results showed that there was a decrease in anxiety in three managed patients. Discussion The results of the assesments showed that the anxiety was a complaint suffered by three CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis. The SEFT therapy was applied to all three CKD patients as a nonpharmacological therapy to reduce an anxiety. The SEFT therapy is the one that combines mind-body with nursing care that utilizes the body’s energy system with the aim of improving a person’s emotions, thoughts and behavior. The therapy is a combined form of the body’s energy system with spiritual therapy and uses the tapping method at certain points, expecially the 12 pathwas of 5 body energy. Conclusion: After being given nursing care for 3 days, all nursing problems were resolved. The SEFT therap is effective in reducing an anxiety suffered by CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis, so it is hoped that in the future more nurses will use SEFT therap as a non-pharmacological interventeion to overcome patient nursing problems.
