HUBUNGAN ANTARA SELF-ESTEEM DENGAN RESILIENSI PADA REMAJA MANTAN PECANDU NARKOBA DI SUMATERA SELATAN

This research aims to determine the relationship between self-esteem and resilience in former drug addicted adolescents in South Sumatra. The hypothesis of this research is that there is a relationship between self-esteem and resilience in former drug addicted teenagers in South Sumatra The population in this study were teenagers who were former drug addicts. The number of samples in this study consisted of 200 with 50 for trials. The sampling technique used is nonprobability sampling. This research uses two scales as measuring tools, namely the self-esteem scale using the self-esteem dimensions of Coopersmith (1967) and the resilience scale using the dimensions of Reivich and Shatte (2002). Correlation testing uses the Spearman Rank technique. The coefficient value from the Spearman rank correlation test is 0.059, which means there is no relationship between self-esteem and resilience in former drug addicted teenagers in South Sumatra.
