HUBUNGAN DUKUNGAN SOSIAL DENGAN FEAR OF FAILURE PADA CALON PESERTA PENERIMAAN TES TNI AD

This study aims to determine the relationship between social support and each of its aspects (emotional support, instrumental support, information support, friendship support) with fear of failure in prospective TNI AD test acceptance participants. The hypothesis is that there is a relationship between social support, emotional support, instrumental support, information support, friendship support. The population in this study were prospective participants in the Army test acceptance, with a sample size of 100 subjects. The sampling technique is porposuve sampling. The measuring instrument used is a scale compiled by the researcher himself with reference to aspects of fear of failure from Conroy (2007) and refers to aspects of social support from Sarafino and Smith (2011). Data analysis in this study used Pearson's Product Moment correlation . The results showed that social support has a relationship with fear of failure in prospective TNI AD test acceptance participants, the results of this study indicate that the social support variable is R Square of -0.352 and a significance value of 0.000 (p
