The aim of this research is to determine the role of locus of control in moral disengagement among university student with contact cheating. The hypothesis of this research is that there is a role of locus of control (internal & external) in moral disengagement among student with contact cheating. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling with a research sample amount of 165 active university student with contract cheating. The measuring instrument used is a scale developed by the researcher based on aspect from Hymel, Henderson, and Bonanno (2005), and a locus of control scale based on Rotter’s (1966). Data analysis in this study used multiple linear regression, from the results of the analysis, this research data shown the R-squared value for the role of internal locus of control in moral disengagement is 0.073, with a significance value 0.000. In contrast, and R-squared value for the role of external locus of control in moral disengagement is 0.128, with a significance value 0.000. Thus, the minor hypothesis is accepted.
