PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PREBIOTIK KULIT NENAS DAN DAUN INDIGOFERA TERHADAP BOBOT ORGAN DALAM PADA AYAM BROILER
Broiler chickens have a fast growth rate and require large amounts of nutrients absorbed from feed. The absorption of nutrients in feed requires good internal organ function to optimize the digestive process. Feed is a factor that determines the success of broiler rearing. Feeding and the addition of a good feed mixture is expected to increase productivity, one of which is the addition of prebiotic substrates from the by-products of making organic acids in the form of pineapple peel and Indigofera leaves. This research was conducted in October 2023 at the Animal Husbandry Industry Technology Department Stables, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. Treatments consisted of P0 (Provision of basal rations (without prebiotics) P1 Provision (0.25%) P2 Provision (0.50%) P3 Provision (0.75%) P4 Provision (1.00%). The parameters of this study include broiler liver weight, broiler heart weight, broiler gizzard weight, and broiler pancreas weight. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the provision of prebioics from indigofera leaves and pineapple peels found that there was no increase or decrease in the weight of each internal organ of broiler chickens.
