PERUBAHAN SOSIAL MASYARAKAT LOKAL AKIBAT PERKEMBANGAN PARIWISATA DI DESA KELUMPANG KECAMATAN ULU OGAN KABUPATEN OGAN KOMERING ULU
This research was conducted to find out about the development of tourism in the village of Kelumpang and describe the conditions of social change that occur in the community due to the development of tourism in the Kelumpang Village of Ulu Ogan District, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency using the study of Cooper's 4A concept of tourism development and Selo Soemardjan's theory of social change. The research method used is qualitative with a case study strategy. Data collection techniques by observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the development of tourism in Kelumpang Village has brought changes to various aspects of the community, such as interaction, economy, culture, and politics. In interaction, the community becomes more open in accepting tourists who come, and this is also followed by changes in mindset and behavior patterns in the community. Changes in the economy due to the development of tourism can be seen from the increase in new kinds of livelihoods, the increase in the amount of income perceived by the community, and changes in the distribution of crops from farmers. In terms of culture, changes occur with the emergence of awareness from the community, especially young people from Kelumpang village in maintaining and preserving local culture and making this local culture a tourist package. The government of Kelumpang Village also has a role in tourism development where they make a political decision, as well as become a mediator and facilitator in tourism development in Kelumpang Village.
