ANALISIS DETERMINAN BELANJA DAERAH PADA PROVINSI DI PULAU SUMATERA TAHUN 2015-2023

This study aims to examine the influence of local revenue, balance funds, budget surplus, and population size on regional expenditure in the provinces of Sumatra Island. This research is a quantitative study using secondary data from the 2015- 2023 period. The analytical technique used is panel data regression analysis with the Fixed Effect Model. The results of this study indicate that local revenue, balance funds, and budget surplus have an impact on regional expenditure in the provinces of Sumatra Island, whereas population size does not affect regional expenditure in these provinces which shows that government planning in regional spending has not been optimal.
