ANALISIS BAHAN ORGANIK, BOBOT ISI, DAN LAJU INFILTRASI DI LAHAN REKLAMASI TAMBANG PADA SISTEM PENANAMAN MULTIKULTUR DAN MONOKULTUR PT BUKIT ASAM, TBK

Tampubolon, Zhoen Pristoyo  - Personal Name;

The mining sector is one of the biggest drivers of the economy and national development for Indonesia, including coal. Mining activities start from exploration, land clearing, topsoil stripping, overburden excavation, coal mining, transportation, processing and marketing of coal. The activity of stripping and removing top soil and rock layers has an impact on environmental damage, including loss of forest vegetation, flora and fauna, soil layers, damage to soil properties (physical, chemical and biological). So it is necessary to carry out postmining land reclamation to restore the function of the land. Monoculture and multiculture planting patterns have different influences on the physical, chemical and biological properties of soil. To find out the effect, research was carried out regarding the analysis of organic matter, bulk density and soil infiltration rate on land with monoculture and multiculture planting patterns. This research was conducted on the post-mining reclamation land of Mahayung and Banko PT. Bukit Asam, Tbk using the Purposive Sampling method and data analysis using a quantitative approach. The research results showed that the organic matter content value on the Mahayung land was 1.08% and on the Banko land it was 0.66%. The average value of organic matter on Mahayung land (1.08%) is greater than Banko land (0.66%), the average value of infiltration rate on Mahayung land is 3.02 cm hour-1 and on Banko land it is 2.56 cm hour -1, and the average bulk weight value on the Mahayung land is 1.40 g cm-3, which is smaller than the Banko land which has an average bulk weight of 1.62 g cm-3. Organic materials have an effect of 70.69% on the infiltration rate, which is in the strong category and 49.39% on the bulk density, which is in the medium category
