PENGARUH APLIKASI BIOMASSA, KOMPOS, DAN WET ASH TERHADAP KETERSEDIAAN N, P DAN K TANAH PADA BUDIDAYA TANAMAN JAGUNG MANIS (Zea mays saccharata Sturt) DI ULTISOL
The use of ultisol for plant cultivation has obstacles in the form of low productivity and few nutrients. In order for ultisol productivity to increase, this can be done by increasing the availability of nutrients and improving the chemical properties of the soil by adding organic materials such as biomass, compost and wet ash. Sweet corn is a food that many people like because it has a sweet taste and high nutritional value. Based on these problems, this research aims to determine the effect of providing biomass, compost and wet ash on the availability of soil N, P and K in the cultivation of sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt) in ultisol and to obtain the best dose to increase it. combination of treatments for N, P and K values. This research was carried out at the Soil Department Field Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University from November 2023 to March 2024. This research used a Randomized Group Design (RAK), with 16 treatment levels each repeated 3 times until harvest. The results showed that the best treatment combination for N-Total was at P9 (25% NPK + 25% biomass + 65% compost + 10% wet ash) with a value of 0.21%, then the best P-Available was at P10 (50% NPK + 50% biomass + 40% compost + 10% wet ash) with a value of 42.67 ppm, and the best K-Available at P12 (25% NPK + 25% biomass + 65% compost + 10% wet ash) with a value of 0,20 me/ 100 gr.
