ANALISIS KELAYAKAN FINANSIAL USAHA PETERNAKAN AYAM KAMPUNG KUB DI DESA LAWANG AGUNG KECAMATAN MUARA RUPIT KABUPATEN MUSI RAWAS UTARA (Studi Kasus Peternakan Ayam Kampung Lawang Agung Farm)
The KUB (Kampung Unggul Balitbangtan) village chicken farming business is a privately owned, self-financed enterprise located in Lawang Agung Village, Muara Rupit District, North Musi Rawas Regency. The objectives of this study are: (1) to describe the general overview of the KUB village chicken farming business conditions in Lawang Agung Village, Muara Rupit District, North Musi Rawas Regency; (2) to calculate the total income generated from the KUB village chicken farming business in Lawang Agung Village, Muara Rupit District, North Musi Rawas Regency and (3) to analyze the level of financial feasibility of the KUB village chicken farming business in Lawang Agung Village, Muara Rupit District, North Musi Rawas Regency. This research was conducted in Lawang Agung Village. The research method used in this study is a case study. The data used in this research consists of primary data and secondary data. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The KUB village chicken farming business in Lawang Agung Village is a privately managed business with self-funded capital, starting from the preparation of the chicken house, supporting equipment such as lamps, water tanks, fans, and electrical wiring to maintain the environmental temperature needed for chicken growth. It is also classified as a medium-scale business because it employs workers from outside the family and its production reaches around 8,000 chickens per year. (2) The net income from the KUB chicken farming business in years 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 are as follows: Rp 85,498,000, Rp 92,074,000, Rp 85,630,000, Rp 81,590,000, and Rp 95,970,000, respectively, resulting in a total income of Rp 214,814,000 over the 5 years. (3) Based on the financial feasibility analysis, the KUB village chicken farming business in Lawang Agung Village is considered feasible to operate. The financial feasibility analysis results show an NPV value of Rp 144.897.441, an IRR of 27%, a Gross B/C of 1.13, a Net B/C of 1.64, and a Payback Period of 2.5 years. Moreover, under sensitivity analysis, assuming a 16% increase in production costs and an 11% decrease in chicken prices, the KUB village chicken farming business remains feasible and within tolerance limits.
