STUDI DESKRIPTIF MENGENAI CELEBRITY WORSHIP PADA KPOPERS

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran dari celebrity worship pada kpopers di Indonesia. Adapun hipotesis pada penelitian ini yakni terdapat gambaran mengenai celebrity worship pada kpopers. Responden pada penelitian ini yakni sebanyak 250 orang kpopers di Indonesia. Uji coba dilakukan sebelumnya pada 50 orang kpopers. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yakni Celebrity Attitude Scale versi bahasa Inggris dari Maltby et al., (2005) yang kemudian di terjemahkan ke bahasa Indonesia lalu dimodifikasi oleh peneliti. Uji validitas yang dilakukan dengan teknik correlated item total correlation melalui perangkat lunak IBM SPSS Statistic 16 for windows yakni sebesar 0,866. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat celebrity worship pada kpopers berada pada kategori sedang ke tinggi. Uji beda yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan celebrity worship pada tingkat pendidikan terakhir yakni SD dan pada domisili yakni Pulau Sulawesi. Sedangkan pada kategori jenis kelamin, usia, dan agama tidak memiliki perbedaan. This research aims to determine the description of celebrity worship among kpopers in Indonesia. The hypothesis in this reaserch is that there is a description of celebrity worship among kpopers. The respondents in this study were 250 kpopers in Indonesia. Previously, trials were carried out on 50 kpopers. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The measuring tool used in this research is the English version of the Celebrity Attitude Scale from Maltby et al., (2005) which was then translated into Indonesian and then modified by the researcher. The validity test was carried out using the item total correlation technique via IBM SPSS Statistic 16 for windows software, which was 0,866. The results of this study show that the level of celebrity worship among kpopers is in the middle to high category. The different test carried out show that there are differences in celebrity worship at the last level of education, namely elementry school, and at domicile, namely Sulawesi island. Meanwhile, in the categories of gender, age, and religion have no difference.
