ROUTING PROTOCOL UNTUK MENGHEMAT ENERGI MENGGUNAKAN METODE FUZZY YANG DITINGKATKAN UNTUK JARINGAN SENSOR NIRKABEL
Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) consists of numerous wireless sensors distributed across an area to detect and measure various environmental parameters. WSN requires high energy efficiency due to the limited battery power of each sensor. The primary issue addressed is enhancing energy efficiency through the fuzzy method. This study aims to improve energy consumption efficiency in WSN, focusing on the impact of applying a fuzzy-based routing protocol. The study is expected to provide a better understanding of the effects of implementing the fuzzy protocol on energy efficiency in WSN. The results show that the application of the fuzzy method in simulations produces significant energy savings compared to the non-fuzzy method. On average, energy consumption per cluster in the first simulation is 1.128 mJ without fuzzy and 0.094 mJ with fuzzy. Energy savings range from 85% to 92% across various simulations. This demonstrates that the fuzzy method can significantly reduce energy consumption and extend the lifespan of sensor networks.
