IDENTIFIKASI POLA PELUAHAN SEBAGIAN PADA SAKLAR DENGAN MATERIAL ISOLASI GAS (UDARA)

Rizqullah, Muhammad Adziin - Personal Name;

This research reports the results of identifying the Partial Discharge pattern (PD Pattern) on the Larken EB-21 switch with variations in air pressure reduction. The measurement process was carried out with a switch electrode system placed in the gas test chamber. Next, a vacuum process is carried out to reduce the air pressure in the gas test chamber with an air pressure value of 766.5 mmHg, then vacuum with an air pressure reduction value of -50; -100; -150; -200; and -250 mmHg. Data recording was carried out for 50 seconds at a voltage increase of 1.1; 1.2; and 1.3 of the PDIV value obtained. The PD pattern measurement results show that for the control variable, the percentage probability of PD occurring with an increase in voltage is 1.1; 1.2; and 1.3 from the PDIV value of 17.04; 21; and 21.6%. The time lag will get longer as the air pressure drops. When the air pressure decreases to -250 mmHg, the percentage of probability of PD occurring becomes 5.77% and the time lag becomes 12,165 ms. These results show that the possibility of PD will be smaller and the time lag that occurs will be longer as the air pressure decreases.
