IDENTIFIKASI KARAKTER AGRONOMI TANAMAN GENERASI F1 HASIL PERSILANGAN CABAI KERITING (Capsicum Annum L.) DENGAN CABAI RAWIT (Capsicum frutescens L.)

Identification of Agronomic Characters of The F1 Generation Plants Resulting From Crossing of Curly Pepper (Capsicum annum L.) and Cayenne Pepper (Capsicum Frutescens L.) (Supervised by MERY HASMEDA and ENTIS SUTISNA HALIMI). This research aims to identify agronomic characteristics of several F1 accessions resulting from crossing of curly pepper and cayenne pepper, and to identify individual genotypes of F1 generation plants resulting from crossing of curly pepper and cayenne pepper that has superior characteristic and has the potential to be developed into new variety. This research was carried out on agricultural field in Nusa Tunggal Village, Belitang III District, East OKU Regency, South Sumatera from January to April 2021. This research uses Randomized Complete Block Design with 16 accessions dan 3 blocks each consist of 3 sample plants. There are 10 accessions that shows superior characteristics, namely accessions CK6 (5) ♀ . CR6 (8) ♂, CK4 (4) ♀ . CR4 (3) ♂ (2), CR6 (4) ♀ . CK6 (8) ♂, CR6 (3) ♀ . CK6 (6) (1) ♂, R4 (2) ♀ . CK4 (5) ♂, CK6 (6) ♀ . CR6 (6) ♂, CK5 (7) ♀ . CR5 (7) ♂, CR6 (7) ♀ . CK6 (8) ♂, CR3 (6) ♀ . CK3 ♂ (2), CR6 (4) ♀ . CK6 (9) ♂. Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk mengidentifikasi karakter agronomi beberapa aksesi F1 hasil persilangan cabai keriting (Capsicum annuum L.) dan cabai rawit (Capsicum frutescens L.), serta Mengidentifikasi individu genotipe tanaman generasi F1 hasil persilangan cabai keriting (Capsicum annuum L.) dan cabai rawit (Capsicum frutescens L.) yang memiliki sifat unggul dan berpotensi untuk dikembangkan menjadi varietas baru. Penelitian dilaksanakan di lahan pertanian Desa Nusa Tunggal Kecamatan Belitang III Kabupaten OKU Timur, Sumatera Selatan dari bulan Januari 2021 sampai dengan bulan April 2021. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan 23 aksesi tanaman dan tiga blok masing-masing terdiri dari tiga tanaman contoh. Terdapat 10 aksesi yang menunjukkan sifat unggul, yaitu aksesi CK6 (5) ♀ . CR6 (8) ♂, CK4 (4) ♀ . CR4 (3) ♂ (2), CR6 (4) ♀ . CK6 (8) ♂, CR6 (3) ♀ . CK6 (6) (1) ♂, R4 (2) ♀ . CK4 (5) ♂, CK6 (6) ♀ .
