MAKNA PERUNDUNGAN SIBER SECARA ANONIM BAGI KORBAN DI TWITTER (STUDI PADA PENGIKUT AKUN @ARMYTEAMIID)
K-POP fans are more vulnerable to becoming victims of anonymous cyber- bullying on Twitter. Their understanding of the free world ofsber-fandom to express themselves can invite such cyberbullying attacks. A number of followers of a big fanbase account named @ARMYTEAMIID belonging to Indonesia's most talked-about K-POP artist, BTS, have experienced such bullying. Despite experiencing the same phenomenon, victims may interpret cyber bullying attacks in different ways. Departing from this problem, this study aims to look at the different meanings that victims give to their cyber bullying experiences. Using a qualitative method with a phenomenological strategy, this research is supported by George Herbert Mead's Symbolic Interactionism theory. The research data was collected through in-depth interviews and documentation. The results of this study show that victims of anonymous cyberbullying on Twitter interpret their experiences as events that affect them physically and mentally. This is because individuals construct meaning based on their previous experiences. Therefore, for the same phenomenon, each individual can interpret it in different ways. Over time, this meaning can change due to the influence of the society around the victim. Keywords: Meaning, Anonymous Cyber Bullying, K-POP, Twitter.
