Poverty is a problem that involves many aspects because it is related to low income, low education, illiteracy, low health status and poor living environment. Poverty is seen as a condition in which a person or group of people do not have their basic rights adequately fulfilled to live and develop a dignified life. Overcoming the problem of poverty cannot be done separately from the problems of unemployment, education, health and other problems that are explicitly closely related to the problem of poverty. The strategic problems in Gandus District are not much different from those in the central government, namely the high poverty rate and the number of unemployed still fluctuating. The aim of this research is to analyze how and how much influence unemployment and education have on poverty so that later it is hoped that it can be used as a basis for determining policies in overcoming the problem of poverty in Gandus District. This research is a type of quantitative research. In this research, information and data were obtained from the library or from previous research reports. The data in this research comes from the Gandus District Central Statistics Agency. Keywords: Poverty, Unemployment, Education.
