HUBUNGAN PROFIL LIPID DENGAN CORONARY SLOW-FLOW PHENOMENON PADA PASIEN YANG MENJALANI ANGIOGRAFI KORONER DI RSUP DR. MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG
Coronary Slow-Flow Phenomenon (CSFP) is characterized by delayed coronary blood flow without significant stenosis, with a prevalence of 1–7% and 38.3% at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin General Hospital Palembang. The condition often causes recurrent chest pain and increases cardiovascular risk. Endothelial dysfunction is suspected to play a role in its pathogenesis, while dyslipidemia may contribute through oxidative stress and impaired nitric oxide regulation. This study aimed to assess the association between lipid profiles and the occurrence of CSFP in patients undergoing coronary angiography. This study was an analytical observational research with a cross-sectional design using medical record data from coronary angiography patients between January 2023 and October 2025. The analyzed variables included total cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL, and HDL levels, with Chi-Square tests used to evaluate the association between lipid profiles and CSFP. A total of 86 patients met the criteria, consisting of 43 CSFP and 43 non-CSFP patients. Both groups were predominantly male, with the most common age range being 46–55 years in the CSFP group and 56–65 years in the non-CSFP group. Categorically, lipid profiles showed generally normal total cholesterol, normal triglycerides, near-optimal LDL, and low HDL levels in both groups. Statistical analysis showed no significant association between total cholesterol (p = 0,647), triglycerides (p = 0,634), LDL (p = 0,948), or HDL (p = 0,828) and the occurrence of CSFP. There was no significant association between total cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL, or HDL levels and the occurrence of Coronary Slow-Flow Phenomenon.
