RESPON PESERTA DIDIK REGULER TERHADAP KEHADIRAN PESERTA DIDIK BERKEBUTUHAN KHUSUS DALAM PEMBELAJARAN INKLUSIF DI SMAN 2 PALEMBANG

Background: The presence of Students with Special Needs (PDBK) in schools creates complex psychological dynamics for other students. The responses that emerge are reflected in regular students’ knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors toward PDBK. Methods: This study used a descriptive quantitative design with a survey approach involving 100 twelfth-grade regular students at SMAN 2 Palembang. Data were collected using a closed-ended questionnaire and analyzed descriptively with SPSS version 24. Results: Most students demonstrated good knowledge (87.0%) and positive attitudes (63.0%) toward PDBK, indicating adequate understanding and empathy. However, in terms of behavior, the majority of respondents (89.0%) showed negative tendencies in social interaction and support toward PDBK. Conclusion: Regular students showed good understanding and positive views toward PDBK, but inclusive social behavior has not yet been optimally formed.
