MANAJEMEN PRODUKSI KOMUNITAS FILM PALEMBANG LAYAR TAMAN DALAM PEMBUATAN FILM “BEGANCANG”

Layar Taman is a learning place for cinematography children in the city of Palembang who is very consistent in making events and films that use elements of Palembang culture. This research aims to find out how production management was carried out by the Palembang Layar Taman film community for the film "Begancang". This research uses the Production Management theory put forward by Tino Saroengallo in his book entitled "Fairy Tales of a Film Production" to analyze how production was managed in the film "Begancang". The author obtained data through in-depth interviews with two key informants and one additional informant, documentation and film data, using qualitative methods. The results of this research are to find out the extent to which the Production Management carried out by the Palembang Layar Taman film community in making the film "Begancang" in every indicator has been fulfilled and carried out, starting from the Development, Pre-Production, Production stages to the final Post- Production stages. From the results of this research, it is known that the Palembang Layar Taman Film Community needs to pay attention to several indicators, such as recce which was not completed in a maximum of only 1 day, this made the crew rush to make a shot list which had an impact during film production, there were still a few shots that had not been confirmed. and making the production timeline not according to the predetermined time, production evaluations that do not involve the head of the crew department as a whole.
