ANALISIS KELAYAKAN UNIT USAHA SAPRODI PADA KORPORASI PETANI PT TELANG AGRO MANDIRI DI DESA TELANG SARI KECAMATAN TANJUNG LAGO KABUPATEN BANYUASIN

The provision of agricultural inputs still faces several problems, including limited availability, prices, and unguaranteed quality. As a business unit managed by farmer corporations, provision of inputs has a strategic role in overcoming the problems. The objectives of this research are (1) to identify input problems faced by farmers in the working area of PT TAM farmer corporation, (2) to analyze the management of the input provision unit in PT TAM farmer corporation, (3) to analyze the income and feasibility of the input provision unit in PT TAM farmer corporation, and (4) to measure the benefits of the input provision unit in PT TAM farmer corporation for member farmers. This research was conducted in the working area of PT Telang Agro Mandiri farmer corporation in Telang Sari Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency. The research method used was a survey method. The data used were primary and secondary data. The results of this study are (1) The majority of farmers in PT TAM farmer corporation work area experience difficulties in the supply of urea fertilizer and NPK fertilizer, with percentages of 68 percent and 62 percent respectively, (2) the input provision unit at PT TAM provides various types of inputs, including seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides at prices obtained from direct distributors, (3) the input provision unit at PT TAM has an average annual income of Rp3.212.005.290 and meets the financial feasibility criteria, namely NPV of Rp2.685.495.254, IRR of 17%, Net B/C of 1,20, Gross B/C of 1,22, and Payback Period of 5 years, indicating that the business is feasible and provides financial benefits. Sensitivity analysis shows that financial feasibility shifts from feasible to unfeasible when there is an 8 percent decrease in selling prices and an increase in operating costs along with a 4 percent decrease in selling prices, (4) the input provision unit at PT TAM provides benefits to member farmers, with most meeting the criteria that are very useful.
