This research titled "The Socio-Economic Impact of Pineapple Fiber Waste Processing in Prabumulih City" aims to examine the pineapple fiber waste management practices in Prabumulih City and the socio-economic effects of home industries involved in processing pineapple fiber waste. The study employs a qualitative method with a case study strategy. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The theoretical framework used is Selo Soemardjan's social change theory. The findings reveal that the presence of home industries processing pineapple fiber waste in Prabumulih City has socio- economic impacts. Social impacts include the organization of socialization activities, improvement in human resource skills through training on pineapple fiber waste utilization, and environmental pollution prevention.
