KANDUNGAN LOGAM KROMIUM PADA TANAH SAWAH ORGANIK DAN KONVENSIONAL DI KECAMATAN BELITANG KABUPATEN OGAN KOMERING ULU TIMUR SUMATERA SELATAN
Heavy metals generally enter the environment in two ways: naturally and anthropogenically. Natural conditions include the release of heavy metals due to the weathering of sediments assisted by climate factors, erosion, and volcanic activity, while anthropogenic sources are due to human activities such as electroplating, mining, smelting, pesticide use, and soil fertilization. The aim of this research is to determine the chromium content in the soil of organic and conventional rice fields located in Tegal Sari Village and Purwodadi Village, Beltang District. This study uses a survey method with a detail scale of 1:10,000, where sampling points are randomly selected and divided based on treatments and different types of fertilizer application. The analysis results show that the organic and conventional rice field soils have not exceeded the threshold set by the Soil Research Institute, which is 2.5 mg kg-1.
