Economic development is a continuous planning process to increase the per capita income of its population in the long term. One of the economic development planning in Indonesia is through the forestry sector. The forestry sector is one of the prima donnas driving Indonesia's economic development, especially in wood processing. Plywood has been the prima donna of Indonesia's processed wood industry products for several years. This study aims to analyze the effect of output value and labor productivity on the competitiveness of the Indonesian plywood industry in 2006-2020. The data used in this study are secondary data with ISIC (1621) in the form of time series data. Data were obtained from several sources, namely the Central Statistics Agency. UNCOMTRADE, and the Ministry of Forestry. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression using the ordinary last square method. The results of the study show that the Indonesian plywood industry is competitive in the global market. The output value of Indonesian plywood has a positive impact and has a significant effect on competitiveness, the productivity of the Indonesian plywood industry workforce has a positive and insignificant impact on the competitiveness of the Indonesian plywood industry.
