UPAYA NGO DALAM PENANGGULANGAN ISU PERUBAHAN IKLIM : STUDI KASUS UPAYA SUPPORT AND FEED DALAM MEMBANGUN GAYA HIDUP VEGAN MELALUI KAMPANYE "WHY PLANT BASED ?" DAN “TAKE THE PLEDGE”
This research contains an explanation of the Support and Feed efforts in the "Why Plant Based?" and Take The Pledge. As an organization that cares about environmental issues and the climate crisis, Support and Feed is working on the Veganism movement as an effort to overcome these problems. The energy, fossil fuel and transportation industries have always been the main topics of global leaders regarding climate mitigation issues, while the livestock industry, which is also one of the contributors to environmental problems, is often sidelined and ignored in discussions. Support and Feed believes that if the world community participates in changing their eating habits to become vegan, it will have a positive impact on the environment. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach where the author explains the existing phenomenon by telling the situation and conditions that occurred and then confirms it with the theory used, namely the Transnational Advocacy Network. Through the Transnational Advocacy Network theory put forward by Margareth Keck and Kathryn Sikkink, they explain the advocacy strategies launched by Support and Feed including Information Politics, Symbolic Politics, Leverage Politics, and Accountability Politics. The results of this research resulted in the program's achievements in influencing the public or society to contribute and change eating habits that are healthier for health and the environment. Keywords: Support and Feed, Environment, Vegan, Transnational Advocacy Network.
