ESTIMASI CADANGAN HIDROKARBON DENGAN DATA WELL LOG PADA RESERVOIR LIMESTONE FORMASI BATURAJA, LAPANGAN "EP" CEKUNGAN JAWA BARAT UTARA
Batu Raja Formation is a productive unit within the North West Java Basin province. This formation aligns with a play concept that supports hydrocarbon accumulation. This study focuses on the Batu Raja Limestone due to its excellent reservoir characteristics. Petrophysical analysis was performed to obtain the petrophysical properties of identified layers, including porosity, clay volume, water saturation, and net pay. These properties were obtained by analyzing the well log data from two wellbores both qualitatively and quantitatively. The petrophysical analysis identifies the presence of both oil and gas within the target formation. Sequence stratigraphy method was used to identify layers with similar ages, as these layers share similar characteristics, which leads to hydrocarbon estimation of the target reservoir. A volumetric approach was conducted to estimate the amount of hydrocarbon resources present in the target reservoir by utilizing reservoir properties from each well. Total original oil in place was estimated to be 173 MSTB for one specific layer within the Batu Raja Limestone in the research site.
