ANALISIS STRUKTUR BIAYA DAN KEUNTUNGAN PADA INDUSTRI FURNITURE KAYU DI KOTA PALEMBANG

This research aims to determine the cost structure and profitability of the wooden furniture industry in Palembang City. The data used in this study are both primary and secondary. Secondary data include several previous journals, articles from the Ministry of Industry. business activity records, and business documentation photos, while primary data include interviews and questionnaires. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, where the data obtained are in the form of descriptions from interviews and questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that the total cost of the wooden furniture business is IDR 481,754,090, with a fixed cost proportion of 28 percent and variable costs of 72 percent. Additionally, the wooden furniture business can generate a profit of IDR 342,095,910, with an average of IDR 18,007,679. This indicates that the condition of wooden furniture business in Palembang City can operatc efficiently and profitably. To increasc profits, business operators need initiatives to learn about effective and efficient coste management. Keywords: Cost structure, profitability, Wooden furniture, Palembang City
