This thesis is entitled "The Effect of TPI Pasar Bawah Development on the Socio-Economic Life of the Coastal Community of Pasar Bawah South Bengkulu Regency in 2004-2022" The purpose of this research is useful to know exactly how the development of Pasar Bawah Fish Auction Centre and its influence on the economy and social life of the people living on the coast of Pasar Bawah South Bengkulu Regency in 2004-2022. The research was conducted from September 2023 to October 2024 using historical method with data collection techniques through direct observation to the location of Pasar Bawah Fish Auction Centre, in-depth interviews with community leaders, fishermen, fish sellers, and documentation method where researchers collect agenda records and fisheries data from the Fisheries Service of South Bengkulu Regency, while the approaches used are economic and sociological approaches. Between 2004 and 2022, there has been a significant development in the construction of auction houses and the development of fishermen's fish marketing to the national market. This is evidenced by the increase in public facilities in the auction site, the development of fishermen's fish marketing, and the increase in the number of consumers coming to the Pasar Bawah Fish Auction Centre.
