The Purpose of this Study is to Explore Academic Hardiness Among Students Working on Their Thesis. The population of this study consists of students currently working on their thesis at Sriwijaya University. The sample includes 310 students, with an additional 50 students for the pilot test. The sampling technique used was Roscoe based on year of study. The measurement tool employed in this research was the academic hardiness scale, based on the dimensions of commitment, control, and challenge as defined by Benishek and Lopez (2001). The results show that the academic hardiness of students working on their thesis falls into the moderate category. The first dimension, commitment, is categorized as moderate, while the second dimension, control, is categorized as moderate, and the third dimension, challenge, is also categorized as moderate. Academic hardiness among students working on their thesis is influenced by factors such as gender (particularly in the challenge dimension), age, and year of study. Furthermore, the study found that the dimension with the highest mean score was challenge, indicating that students working on their thesis experience a high level of challenge.
