STRATEGI PENGHIDUPAN (LIVELIHOOD STRATEGY) MASYARAKAT PESISIR PADA MUSIM ANGIN UTARA DI DESA SEBONG PEREH, KECAMATAN TELUK SEBONG, KABUPATEN BINTAN, PROVINSI KEPULAUAN RIAU
This research examines the livelihood strategies of coastal communities during the northern monsoon season in Sebong Pereh Village, Teluk Sebong District, Bintan Regency, Riau Archipelago Province. The purpose of this study is to understand the forms of livelihood strategies employed by coastal communities during the northern monsoon season in Sebong Pereh Village. The method used in this research is qualitative, descriptive research with a case study strategy. Informants were selected purposively, resulting in 11 primary informants and 3 supporting informants. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the livelihood strategies employed by fishermen or coastal communities during the northern monsoon season include diversifying their occupations and opting for geographic mobility during fishing activities.
