EFEKTIVITAS KERJASAMA BPJS KETENAGAKERJAAN INDONESIA DAN JEPANG DALAM PENGADOPSIAN SHAROUSHI MELALUI JICA PERIODE TAHUN 2016 - 2020

The success of Japan’s Social Security Institution in implementing the Sharoushi system has inspired the adoption of the Sharoushi system into the social security mechanism of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. The Indonesian Government believes that this Sharoushi system can be applied within Indonesian society with the aim of increasing BPJS Ketenagakerjaan membership. This study examines the cooperation between BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Indonesia and Japan in adopting the Sharoushi system through JICA from 2016 – 2020. The research aim to understand the processes, challenges, and outcomes of this cooperation. Using qualitative methods, including interviews, case studies, and document analysis. This study finds that the adoption of Sharoushi has significantly improved participation, efficiency, and effectiveness of social security administration in Indonesia. The study concludes that continuous efforts are essential to enchance the successful implementation of cooperation for the adoption of Sharoushi.
