STRUKTUR KOMUNITAS MAKROZOOBENTOS PADA JENIS MANGROVE YANG BERBEDA DI PULAU PAYUNG KECAMATAN BANYUASIN II KABUPATEN BANYUASIN SUMATERA SELATAN

Macrozoobenthos are organisms that inhabit the bottom of waters or live in the bottom sediments of a body of water. This activity aims to analyze the relationship between macrozoobenthos community structure and mangrove community structure in different mangrove types on Payung Island, Banyuasin II District, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra. This research was conducted in September 2023 on Payung Island, Banyuasin II District, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra. Based on the results of the study the range of temperature parameters (30 0C - 30.6 0C), salinity (27 - 29 %) and acidity (7.27 - 7.49). The types of macrozoobenthos found in the Payung Island mangrove area come from the class of Gastropoda and Malacostraca. The results of the macrozoobenthos biodiversity index, on the value of macrozoobenthos abundance ranges from 3-4.33, diversity index range 0.98-1.15, uniformity index range 0.98-1.15. Abundance value and dominance value found in Rhizophora apiculata mangrove. Diversity and uniformity values were found in Avicennia alba and Soneratia casiolaris mangroves.
