PENERAPAN KODE ETIK JURNALISTIK PADA BERITA PELECEHAN SEKSUAL TERHADAP ANAK DI MEDIA ONLINE TRIBUNNEWS.COM

This study has a background of sexual harassment cases that are very common around us, especially cases of harassment experienced by minors. This study aims to see whether tribunnews.com as one of the best online media portals in Indonesia has implemented a journalistic code of ethics in reporting cases of sexual harassment against children that have been selected as 10 news items. This study uses a qualitative research type with a qualitative descriptive content analysis approach and is guided by the theory of advocacy journalism. This study uses article 4 point d and article 5 of the journalistic code of ethics and 6 elements of advocacy journalism including the focus of the news, the issues raised, the main sources, work priorities, the principle of legality, and expectations after the news is published. The results obtained from this study are that from the ten news items that have been studied, article 4 of the journalistic code of ethics has been implemented very well, eight out of ten news items are quite good at implementing article 5 of the journalistic code of ethics.
