PENGEMBANGAN ALAT DETEKSI API PADA KEBAKARAN BERBASIS KAMERA DAN SENSOR GPS SEBAGAI PENDETEKSI LOKASI SENSOR AKTIF
Fires are unexpected events that often occur in daily life, causing significant threats and losses to the public. Early fire detection plays a crucial role in disaster mitigation and environmental protection efforts, especially in areas prone to fire incidents such as forests and open lands. Delays in detecting the presence of fire can lead to wider and harder-to-control spread. Therefore, a system capable of identifying fire in real-time is urgently needed. The purpose of this final project is to design and develop a fire detection device based on a camera using the ESP32-CAM module, which can detect fire flames through digital image processing, and the NEO-6M GPS module to accurately determine the device's location when detection occurs. This system is equipped with a notification feature that sends location coordinates and visual evidence via Wi-Fi network to the Telegram application. With this system, fire monitoring can be carried out more quickly and efficiently, especially in remote areas. It is expected that this device can serve as a supporting solution to accelerate response to fire incidents and minimize the resulting damages.
