PROSES INTERAKSI SOSIAL ANTAR PEKERJA DALAM PENGEMBANGAN BISNIS AGENSI KREATIF FOREPLAY CORP DI KOTA PALEMBANG

This study raises the topic related to the form of social interaction and obstacles to social interaction between workers in the business development of the creative agency foreplay corp in the city of Palembang. The purpose of this study is to determine the process of social interaction of workers in the development of the creative agency foreplay corp in Palembang city. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative design. The paradigm used in this study is constructivism. The research strategy used in this study is a case study strategy. The unit of analysis of this study is a group of creative agency workers foreplay corp. The sample of this study was determined through a purposive technique of 5 informants. Data collection was obtained through field observation and in-depth interviews as primary data, and supported by the results of a literature review as secondary data, which were then analyzed using the social interaction theory of Gillin and Gillin. The results of the study indicate that the process of social interaction between workers in the business development of the creative agency foreplay corp in Palembang city, among others: 1) Associative Interaction; Cooperation that is established in the form of division of work tasks; Accommodation that is established in the form of a culture of work tolerance and compromise actions; The assimilation that is created takes the form of tolerance regarding differences in beliefs and opinions, 2) Dissociative Interaction; The competition that occurs is in the form of performance competition; The controversy that occurs is in the form of debate situations in the scope of work; The conflict that occurs is in the form of interpersonal conflict, 3) Interaction Barriers; Internal barriers are lack of self-confidence, selfishness, overthinking; External barriers in social interaction between workers are in the form of differences in priorities.
