PERANCANGAN RESORT AGROWISATA BERBASIS ENERGI TERBARUKAN DI KABUPATEN CIANJUR
Cianjur Regency covers an area of 350,148 hectares and has great potential in the agriculture and tourism sectors, supported by 58,101 hectares (16.59%) of wetland agriculture and 57,735 hectares (16.49%) of plantation areas. High horticultural production such as mangoes, durians, citrus fruits, avocados, as well as coffee and tea strengthens Cianjur’s position as a producer of leading commodities and opens wide opportunities for agrotourism development. Based on data from the West Java Provincial Tourism Office in 2023, tourist visits to Cianjur reached 1,071,201 people, indicating a growing tourism appeal along with its inclusion in the Jabodetabekjur agglomeration area. This tourism development needs to be supported by innovative resource management through the utilization of renewable energy such as solar power, biomass, biogas, and geothermal energy. Therefore, the concept of a renewable energy-based agrotourism resort is expected to integrate tourism, education, environmental conservation, and community empowerment. This research aims to design an efficient and sustainable renewable energy-based agrotourism resort model to support sustainable tourism development in Cianjur Regency.
